(BTW, I really liked making that pic, even though posing a turian and a human kissing was a DISASTER at first XD)
(You managed very well, then, they look very natural, no weird angles or things like that.
Yep, having a grasp on anatomy is useful when posing (or drawing) humans or animals (or aliens).
In fact it's a tiny bit of both: I use XNALara posing program to pose the models (I am receiving all models from my friend or I find them online, made usable by kind and amazing people), then I put the pose in Photoshop and add background and some more effects
...well, with exception of Garrus, of course ^.^
