I've been having all sorts of fanfiction idea for Mass Effect for weeks now... now that *SumireHaikuXNA was so awesome to make a model for my OC, Danielle, I can put some of those ideas into images :D
EDIT: Just to clarify - Danielle is not my custom Shepard, she is an OC, a doctor on the Normandy crew :)

Special thanks to:
PabloPicasso - for Garrus' Vakarian model
*SumireHaikuXNA - for putting together Danielle
Creators of XNALara - where the models were posed.
Final touches were made in Photoshop, background was cut out from a screenshot of Normandy.
Models and characters belong to BioWare, Danielle in general belongs to me.

I think I might be writing some fanfiction soon too...

PS.
Make sure to check this awesome image by SumireHaiku! Citadel date

Very nice, I'm thinking this must be when she is with Cerberus since her hair is against regs.

Against what regulations? Are there regulations for hair length amongst medical personnel? (as strict as those military ones, of course)

In some cases, there are. Depends on where they work, what field they work, etc. If this is your Shepard OC and working in the military (even as a health professional) hair length is, of course, under regulation.
Surgeons, for example, may be mandated to keep a manageable hair length so they can tie it up and tuck it away at a moment's notice.

*cough* If You had read the description, You would know she is not a Shepard, surgeon or not. ;)
Besides, I could never understand why people would rather pretend Shepard can be a surgeon (while the only sensible role for Shepard in ME is being the saviour of the universe), than create a perfectly sensible random OC for that role. And pair them with a canon character, why not?

You'd be surprised how many OC Shepards I see with long hair, despite being military.
So, I suppose it's summed up to two things.
*cough*
1. There are a lot of Shepards out there with long hair created by teenagers...
2. It was 2am and reading several paragraphs of text is beyond my capabilities at that hour.

1. Now I'm wondering if You're assuming I'm a teenager. That would actually be kind of a compliment...
(I don't approve of long-haired Shepards. There's a reason why BioWare didn't let us choose from braided hairstyles.)

2. Late hour doesn't really excuse overlooking an author's attempt to communicate with their viewer, don't you think? ;)

No, I'm not accusing you of being a teenager. It was merely a statement.

For me, late hour excuses everything. Including laziness. ... and long hair. :p

Nothing excuses long hair - it's not the matter of being tired, but the matter of ignoring rules. Ignoring rules is bad! ;)
