So...
I was extremely honoured, when ~earendil87 approached me and asked to make a picture for the Romance DLC initiative. The idea was to reproduce a classic piece of art with Shepard and a LI. And I thought... Why not make both Shepards and all LI's? Especially those that are not a LI yet?

And that's how I chose Michaelangelo's Creation of Adam as my classic piece... I hope Master Michaelangelo will not rise from his grave to haunt me >.>

I know I'm not much of an artist, but I did my best! There are three characters on this pic that are not looking at Jane - that's because they're unofficial LI's, that I believe should be added to the official list. Ash - because why the hell Kaidan can suddenly change his orientation to bi and she cannot? Joker - because who doesn't love Joker, honestly? And James - ...because of reasons, okay?
On the original painting, angels are much smaller than God (depicted by Kaidan), but when I tried that it just... looked silly. So they're all (almost) the same sized.

Models were posed in XNALara and edited in Photoshop. Background was repainted from the stock picture of "Creation of Adam" found on Google.
Models and characters belong to BioWare. "Creation of Adam" is now a public property, I guess?

Kaidan did not "change" to bi, he always was. Also Ashley. But after some homophobic assh*les made a fuss at FOX NEWS about that (especially Liara in the trailer) BW cut the almost completed same sex romances out of ME1 again. Files can be found (fully voiced in all european languages already - up to the scene right before they sleep with each other) in the game.

Which I admit, I didn't heard about! It makes much more sense that way, actually.
I am in no way against homosexual or bisexual characters, as long as they're carried off rationally - like Samantha Traynor or Steve Cortez were in ME3. I love them both! It's just the sheer comparison of how Kaidan turned out in ME1 and THEN in ME3, that made it look awkward to me...

Oh man, I think Ash and Kaidan both "died" on Virmire, cause they were pale (in appearance AND behavior!) and kinda...Idk, dull in ME3. What has become of this badass bitch and that interesting, sensitive Sentinel? Two ... Idk... I canÄt describe it. Kaidan's still lovely, but he's just ... not Kaidan anymore. And Ashley is a pretty Barbie doll without any personality.

I've never been much of Kaidan's fan, so I cannot really say much about his development (or lack thereof), but I was really surprised when I saw Ash in ME3, looking like she walked out of some L'oreal commercial >.< I was like "WTF, girl, what happened to your hair?? And face?? Is Alliance now providing their soldiers with tan along armour?" *sighs* And it only got worse after that :P

THIS!!!! I made a parody of her because of that (I've been irritated as fuck, too when seeing her the first time in ME3), but got shitloads of hate for it. lol

Yeah, true. She got pale skin and an UTTERLY idiotic hair stlye. I mean, what? half of her face covered by HAIR as a sniper? Very clever. And no armor? The real Ash never wore such a skimpy slut suit. It's pretty, but not on the battle field, cause that's... completely silly.

Wow, this is fantastic!
Kelly's face in there really bothers me (why not Jack or Miranda?). I know you wanted to use the LIs, (though Allers is not there - not that I miss her, because I don't), but Kelly... gah, she really annoys me. Everything else is perfect! I love that you chose Kaidan to be god!
