It's my first tutorial ever, so forgive me if it's sloppy...
I titled it "ME fanart", but I believe the same technique can be used to any type of blue flames, magic blasts, etc, etc.

I did this, and it was awful. I think it's largely because my art is awful in general.

Don't give up! I usually have to correct at least half of what I draw, before I'm satisfied

I guess so, I never tried gimp 2, but I think the features should be similar... Just out of curiosity I'm going to download it and install today and see for myself
